This amazing journey started for me back in 2006 due to my passion for creative photography and my love for children. Photography has allowed me the opportunity to display my artistic personality and I feel blessed that my days are filled with capturing and sharing my images with clients, family & friends. I was lucky enough to find and marry the man of my dreams and together we have two amazing boys who fill our days with so much love and happiness.
After the birth of our first son, I decided to shift away from my career as a Territory Manager in the cosmetics industry and turn my focus to raising our son and doing what I love most, taking images of little ones! After the birth of our second son and many late nights studying photography and visual design at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Calgary, Jillian Faulkner Photography came to life and was incorporated in October 2010.
As you browse through my portfolio, I hope you get a sense of the passion and creativity I bring to each project as well as my commitment to providing my clients with beautiful photographs. To preview some of my more recent work come follow me on Instagram and Facebook!
I believe that all portrait sessions should be a full experience created and customized just for you! No two clients are ever looking for exactly the same thing.
From our pre-session consultation, to helping you coordinate wardrobe, to finding the perfect location or studio backdrop that best suits your vision, I am with you all the way! I offer both on-location & studio sessions and all my client portrait sessions are planned with a great attention to detail.
I am a strong believer in printing your photographs. The ability to hold prints, pass them around, frame them and share them with family and friends is why we have them. Albums can be treasured and looked through by future generations for years to come and I want that for your family! Not all labs are created equal and I am a perfectionist when it comes to ensuring my work is displayed and printed the way it should be which is why all of my portrait sessions come with professional prints.
