Your headshot should represent your authentic personality, be targeted to your audience and be current! The corporate headshots, business portraits, and profile photos I photograph for my clients are designed to convey confidence in your final images. In many cases, your professional headshot is the first thing people see, so let’s work together to create professional high quality images that capture you and your team at your absolute best!

Corporate Headshots vs. Personal Branding Sessions

Corporate Headshot sessions take place in studio or on-location for larger groups needing multiple individuals to be photographed. Images are taken up close and personal for the majority of the session. These sessions are short in length and really focus on that perfect up close and personal profile photo.

Personal Branding sessions are longer sessions where we can be a little more creative! These photo sessions can take place in studio or on-location. With more time available, I will have clients bring a variety of clothing options and props so I can photograph lots of different looks. A variety tight headshots will be taken along with a wider selection of 3/4 and full length portraits to provide you with a larger assortment of proofs to select from. Personal branding sessions can also include your other team members along with product and behind the scenes imagery to help communicate your personalty and brand story.

Hair & Make-Up

Hair and makeup is by no way required but highly recommended for all women. Makeup should generally be applied a little heavier for the lighting I use but you will still want to have a natural, clean look to keep your images timeless. When you arrive your hair should styled the way you would normally present yourself so that the images we create reflect the real you. By booking a professional hair and make-up artist, they can wok together with you to assist in taking the stress out of having to do this yourself while still ensuring your final vision for your images comes to life. I work with various freelance professional hair and makeup artists so if you are interested in adding hair and make-up to your session, I will get you in touch with one another to discuss all the details.

What Should I Wear?

During your styling consultation we will discuss the style of session and what clothing would best compliment your final images. Layers work great and do not have to be seasonal. From solid t-shirts, to sweaters, light jackets and vests, layering can add texture and dimension and completely change the overall mood of an image. The number one rule is to love what you wear! If you do not feel comfortable in the clothes you are in, it will show in your final portraits. My studio does had a private changing room stocked will all that you would require to freshen up including a hand held steamer.

How do I book a session?

Headshot and Model Portfolio building sessions are booked Monday-Thursday between 10am-5pm. Personal Branding Sessions require more time and do book well in advance so to secure the date you are hoping for, the sooner you get in touch the better the chance I have the date you are hoping for.

Once we have connected and I’ve had a chance to discuss all the details with you and I have answered any additional questions you may have, a booking contract containing all your session details as well as my studio policies will be sent to review and sign electronically. I do also require the creative fee be paid to hold and confirm your chosen session date & time. The creative fee can be paid via credit card or E-Transfer. The creative fee is non-refundable but can be moved to an alternate session date & time should you need to reschedule. Once the booking contract & creative fee have been received, you are officially booked and we can start planning and preparing for your upcoming photography session!
