How Long Does The Session Last?

The majority of my studio headshot sessions last 45 minutes from the time you arrive in studio. This allows for time for you to freshen up, review wardrobe selections and get settled in the space. During your pre-session consultation we will decide on which backdrop selections you want to go with so that the studio setups are ready to go when you arrive. No waiting for lights and backdrops to be set up, only time spent one on one to create the images you are hoping for!

How Much Variety Can I Expect in My Headshot Photos?

Every session is built around capturing the three most important images you need: your formal headshot for credibility, your conversational headshot for connection, and your classic headshot for everyday, versatile web-use. I will photograph a mix of ¾ length and tighter crops rather than snapping dozens of near-identical frames. The goal of every session is to have you walk away with a purposeful mix that covers every place your face needs to show up, not just one static image reused everywhere.

What Should I Wear to my headshot session?

We will cover this in detail during your pre-session styling and concept consultation, where we'll review wardrobe options together to make sure your outfits align with the look and purpose of each headshot. You'll also receive a Headshot Styling Guide from me after the call, packed with helpful tips to guide you as you plan and prepare for your session to ensure you feel confident and ready well before session day.

Are There Any Restrictions on How I Can Use My Headshot Photos?

Headshot images come with a digital image license so whether it's LinkedIn, your website, email marketing or anywhere else your brand shows up online, the choice is completely yours. If you are looking to use your headshot images in your print materials, I do offer print image licensing as an add-on.

Do You Shoot On-Location or Only In-Studio?

Yes! I offer do offer on-location photography for teams right at your workplace. Studio equipment and lighting are brought on-site to ensure the same level of consistency and polish you'd get in-studio. Since on-location sessions are tailored to your team's size and space, please contact the studio directly for pricing. I do require a minimum of 5 employees to photograph headshots on-site.

Do you offer hair and make-up?

Hair and makeup styling can be added to any session and is highly recommended for female headshots. It's a simple way to ensure your look is polished and professional!
