I’m Jillian Faulkner, a full-time professional multiple award-winning and published family portrait photographer located in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

I have been offering maternity, newborn, baby, child, family and headshot portrait photography services for over 14 years and feel truly blessed that my days are filled with creating beautiful photography for all those who enter my studio! My experience working with young children and my ability to capture true authentic moments will provide you with family photos documenting your family’s unique story. I am an active member, Master photographer and Alberta Ambassador for the National Association of Professional Portrait and Child Photographers (NAPCP). In addition, I am also an Accredited Member with the Professional Photographers of Canada.

I pride myself on providing impeccable customer service and great attention to detail concerning all aspects of your photography session. Every portrait photography session is personalized to each client and I will do my best to ensure you have a positive, stress-free experience. From the style and location of the session to wardrobe suggestions and ways to best prepare for your photo shoot, I am here to help you through the entire process!

As a wife & mom to two boys myself, I fully understand all too well how quickly time passes. I am continually inspired to capture these fleeting moments, not only to create beautiful images and artwork for you to enjoy but to also preserve those moments of love, celebration and joy to remember forever.

After completing my studies in photography and visual design at both the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Calgary, Jillian Faulkner Photography Ltd. came to life and was incorporated in October 2010. When I’m not in the studio or on location with my camera, I love spending time with my husband and two sons, and entertaining family and friends in our home. Any chance I get to travel and explore new places, I am always up for the adventure. I find that many times, I draw inspiration from being in new environments and from seeing the world from a different perspective!
