That's why every session begins with a pre-session styling consultation and not a generic email checklist.

During this conversation, we discuss:

What Happens on Your Photography Session Day?

Whether you choose an in-studio session at our Hudson Lofts location in downtown Calgary or an outdoor location with personal meaning, your family portrait session is paced to feel calm, not rushed.

You can expect:

• Warm, confident direction — especially helpful for kids or camera-shy family members

• Natural, guided posing rather than stiff, forced positions

The Image reveal & Ordering Appointment: Seeing Your Images for the First Time

Roughly two weeks after your session, you'll return to the studio for your Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment. This is often described as the most exciting part of the entire experience. Your images are presented on a 70" 4K screen, allowing your family to see every detail before deciding on final products. Families will usually invest anywhere from $1500 to $3000 or more in their family image collection.

At this appointment, you will:

• View the best images from your family photo shoot

• Select your favourite images that you wish to purchase

• Handle and preview physical album and print samples

• Finalize your order with guided support

I recommend that everyone who was part of the session attend this appointment since these decisions shape the artwork your family lives with for years to come.

Virtual viewing appointments are available for out-of-town clients.
